A Danish digital provider was bought in 2015 by a USA Digital Transformation company the company asked us to find 2 key management people CEO and a Global VP of Sales. Both projects were completed in 8 weeks from the 1st meeting. The client was one of the first providers with a 100% cloud based “Streaming software system” able to handle HD streaming, in highest Quality, in Highest scale / global.

The previous way of global TV broadcast was via CDN (network with Fiber, Server, and satellite. But with huge contents, and or long distances, the screen picture was “freezing” all the time. – But the clients system solved that issue. The new board refocused the business and led it to global expansion inside 3 years

Security software vendor and Data Host Center for major Nordic Banks and institutions but split into 4 smaller entities. The company focused on Mail security scanning for global clients, with their HQ in DK / Nordics – but business line global market presents. There Focus: Exit strategy in the coming 24 months.

We identified a CTO with very rare commercial vision and skills to ensure the project was a success for Venture Capital companies involved and the companies’ employees too. After meeting with the Board and the CEO, the first priority was to describe the profile and skills required - The challenge in this market is to connect the Danish architecture SW solution, and the developer’s skills, because the majority of potential candidates came from ASIA.

Substantial research was undertaken to identify people with management skills of Asian developers in new tablets / mobile cloud based solutions, but with Danish developed application and architecture, concentrating on ASIA, Russia and Pakistan. The new CTO returned home from Asia to Copenhagen, reorganized the technical unit to cope with the international demands from customers and new prospects,

A major mobile/ broadcasting company reorganized the entire company with a new management team, and split the market into 1) B2B professional market, and 2) the huge private market for TV / broadcasting, network etc. The company had lost market share and was losing partnerships across its business.

The company contacted Taplow, they had a short window of opportunity to bring in a new Sales Director to calm the markets and restructure the sales teams. Taplow worked quickly to reach out to major competitors and the project was closed in the predetermined timeline.

 Transformation and Reorganization

A globally operating technology company with HQ in Finland. In a transformation and reorganization process they faced a need to have local country HR and Finance managers in several European countries. In this case Taplow Finland acted as a single point of contact, taking care on one assignment in Finland and coordinating two assignments in France and Belgium.

Together with Taplow France and Taplow Belgium we were able to also provide the client valuable local information about the profile and legislation in the area. Eventually with two months we were able to find suitable candidates for all roles and meet all candidates locally. At the same time all communication was handled via Taplow Finland and responsible partner.

A globally operating tech company with HQ in Finland and it has offices in Silicon Valley and Asia. It is a growth company that consolidates its industries local small offices under one global tech platform to be able to reach millions of users in the BtoB field. They have grown with their current CEO to the level they are now, and our task was to build a profile for the next big leap while continuing rapid M&A in their field also in the future.

New CEO could be coming anywhere from the world even though the preferred location was HQ in Finland where most of the team is located. Within five-six weeks we were presenting candidates and within 2 months from the start, we closed this successful assignment.  Board Hiring for Technology & Manufacturing Company

The client case was to search board members to 2 different clients. Both companies are representing the ICT-sector. One is a listed company with HQ in Finland who provides machinery engineering solutions and software to the world’s leading companies in the manufacturing industry and the other is a global software company with a strong presence in more than 70 industries worldwide. The angle was to find board members with the knowledge of IOT, AI, Digitalization, Robotics and to represent the customer view. The search in both the cases ended successfully and we presented such good candidates that both of our clients ended up choosing 2 new board members to be nominated to their boards. The search was completed in both cases within 2 months.
