Katrin Dambrot, Managing Director at Taplow USA and President of the Financial Women’s Association of New York (FWA) had the privilege of ringing the opening bell at the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) on April 26, 2017 as part of the FWA’s International conference to Toronto and Vancouver marking FWA’s recognition of Canada’s 150th Anniversary.  Katrin also had the honor of ringing the closing bell at NASDAQ in 2016 as part of the FWA’s 60th Anniversary celebration.

In addition to the recent International Conference in Canada, the FWA has held recent International Conferences in Singapore/ Hong Kong (2016), London (2015) and Berlin (2014) featuring top level government and financial industry speakers, press panels and keynotes such as Dame Fiona Wolff and Elizabeth Corley, to name a few.  Taplow has participated in these conferences through underwriting of the Conference Briefing books and sourcing of key speakers as well as through attendance of Taplow Managing Directors Giovanna Bambilla, Carmen Alarcon, Mark Firth and Steve Schrenzel.

Katrin and Steve point out that the Taplow commitment to supporting the development of minority and female talent is a lifelong commitment and it is demonstrated through Taplow’s ongoing and continued success in recruiting diverse executives and professionals across our global footprint.  Taplow itself has almost 50% diverse and female leadership.

Katrin has had an exceptional career in financial and other professional services as well as consumer goods for over 30+ years including 10+ years as a Managing Director of Taplow North America.  Katrin has been actively involved in the leadership of the FWA for the past 10 years and has served as President 2015-2017.  Steve Schrenzel has also served as a Board member of FWA and co-chair of its Men’s Alliance.
