Taplow roundtable conference took place in Beijing on 26th April 2019, where 19 executives from various industries and fields participated. The conference was kick-started by Taplow’s Senior Business Partner, Yan ZHANG. She mentioned several essential points in her speech. Starting with the introduction of a 5-barrier model in preliminary teamwork, which is as follows:
• Lack of trust
• Afraid of conflicts
• Lack of promises
• Avoiding responsibilities, and
• Ignoring consequences
Then, an HRD raised and stated a case at the roundtable meeting part. Each participant was actively involved by providing their inputs in the whole conversation. The case was discussed with the facilitation by Sheldon Zhou and finally helped the HRD to define the issue that he faced.
