Carmen Alarcon

Carmen is Managing partner of Taplow´s Madrid office. She is also founding mother of the Taplow Group. Carmen began her career as a Consultant at Arthur Andersen in Madrid, taking on responsibilities in both auditing and consulting projects for the Utility and Oil industries. She later joined JH Schroder as an Equity Financial Analyst, where she was responsible for assessing international client investments in the Spanish Stock Exchange.

She continued her career in Executive Search, working as a Consultant for international firms such as Ward Howell. In 1997, she co-founded Alarcón & Espinosa. Throughout her career, she has been closely involved in the Financial Industry, managing projects for international banks and local financial institutions. Her experience also includes working with real estate companies and other sectors.

Carmen holds a Law degree and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE), Madrid.She speaks English fluently and has a basic command of French and Italian.
