Exciting Devlopments at The Taplow Group New Zealand

Our Taplow New Zealand operation has been bolstered with the merging of Rothley Executive Search into the SWR Group, effective from 1st April 2019. 

Graeme Sandri – Taplow New Zealand’s Managing Partner stated that they have known Rothley’s founding director Sean Brunner for years. “Our values align, and we have long had mutual respect for each other’s organisations. The merger makes a lot of sense for both our organisations, and it is great news for our clients because it means that we can service the executive search needs for New Zealand businesses even better with Sean on the SWR team, as he gives us even broader reach across Wellington and Auckland.”

Our growing team of eight professionals means that our combined networks are now even wider and deeper, reinforcing our proven ability to help our clients build great leadership teams.

To give you some detail on Sean, he has extensive experience managing search and recruitment processes for executive, director and functional senior management positions in the private, not-for-profit and public sectors. His depth of understanding and personal experience of leadership, business and recruitment is backed by a strong track record in the executive search and recruitment industry in leadership, consulting and relationship management roles.

Before establishing Rothley in 2015, Sean was the Director at Robert Walters in Wellington for nine years. In this role, he was responsible for establishing operations in Wellington and growing the business to 35 staff and 200 contractors across five specialist practices. 

Sean’s arrival into SWR and The Taplow Group will help us to be more focused on excellence in sourcing leadership talent, specialised and hard-to-fill roles, whether permanent or contract in the New Zealand market.
